Student Assistance
- Artistic Discovery competition
The annual high school art competition sponsored by Congresswoman Richardson.
- Internship Opportunities
I am planning to run an internship program accepting college students interested in learning about the operations of a congressional office. In addition to general office support, interns will assist my staff with constituent services, Capitol tours, and light research. Interns will also be encouraged to attend hearings, lectures, and seminars available in Congress and around Capitol Hill.
- Congressional Page Program
High school juniors are eligible work as Pages in the U.S. House of Representatives for a fall or spring. There is no GPA requirement for Pages who work during the summer semester. While serving the House, Pages live in Washington D.C., at the Page Residence Hall, a few blocks away from the Capitol. During the academic year, Pages attend classes at the House Page School.
- Military academy nominations
Each member of Congress, is allowed a total of five appointees in each service academy. For each vacancy, I am allowed to nominate ten individuals. Interested in applying?
- Education loans and grants
